The Back Burner Restaurant is a cozy eatery offering inventive, continental cuisine. With a warm atmosphere and delicious food, the Back Burner is a fitting venue for date nights, anniversaries, graduations, wedding receptions, and family events.

Chef Julio Rosas, a long-time Macon favorite and no stranger to fine cooking, along with his wife, Karen, acquired the restaurant in January 2015. Together, they strive to uphold the name, reputation, and quality of the Back Burner Restaurant.

Chef Julio Rosas began his culinary career humbly. Working his way up from a dishwasher, Chef Rosas eventually made it to the fine kitchen of the Tic Toc Room, where he absorbed knowledge and skills of his contemporaries. He served in the honorable role of Executive Chef for ten years before deciding to venture out on his own with The Back Burner. Chef Rosas owns the Restaurant with his wife Karen Rosas. Working with young people and as a therapist for all ages, Karen is always looking for ways she can help her community.
